My first Premier League game live in a stadium!

The 30th of December 2018 is a very special day for me to remember. Finally I was going to watch a Premier League match live, at Selhurst Park, in the south of London.

"Today is a good day", I thought to myself as I woke up in the morning of the matchday. After breakfast at the hotel my Dad and I were picked up by Cliffe, the man who got us the tickets. He is a huge CPFC-Fan. Together we took a taxi and got underway. While the 50 minute drive we talked about Crystal Palace beating Man City and the brilliant goal Andros Townsend scored in that game. As we arrived, Clifffe gave me a scarf and a hat. I was surprised and felt very lucky.

The first thing I wanted to do was moving towards a shop. I bought a white away kit which looks very nice in my opinion and some more gifts for my friends at home. After that I stood in the middle of the Fan-Zone with my wheelchair and listened to the moderators. They were talking about score predictions and so on.

The game itself!

The game started at 12 o´clock uk time. The atmosphere was amazingly great. I loved hearing the chants of the Crystal Palace Fans. Unsurprisingly, Chelsea were dominating. They had a lot of possession and it seemed like the Players of Crystal Palace could not get the ball. Ross Barkley took a shot off as well as Willian, but the goalkeeper Guita made a solid performance. Olivier Giroud rattled the ball in the back of the net twice, but both times it was given offside. To be honest I think that the french man is pretty underrated. He can be a game changer especially with his height and shooting skills.

Not too long after Giroud´s second attempt David Luiz played a magnificent pass to

N´Golo Kante, who scored the 1-0 for the Blues. Although their team was behind, the CPFC Fans were trying their best to push the Eagles forward. I remember them screaming things like "Jump, Sakho", "Go on then" or "Move!". All in all I can say that I had a lot of fun and it was a great experience. Also: The wheelchair-seats at Selhurst Park are very nice. You can see everything that happens on the pitch. The only problem is, that if the people in front of you stand up, you as a wheelchair person won´t be able to look over their heads.
